The CCHL Certified Health Executive (CHE) Program is pleased to present an exclusive interactive session led by the CCHL’s Dr. Jaason Geerts, Director of Research and Leadership Development, which explores key features that distinguish leading organizations from others. This event will draw together from CCHL’s ongoing research and thought leadership, focusing on the concept of A Leadership Organization (ALO), which refers to effective leadership integration organization-wide.

Inclusive Excellence within Health Management: an EDI Fundamentals Conversation – June 19, 2023
Open to MHM Students and Alumni
During this 2-hour online workshop you will learn about the core concepts and definitions of EDI and Inclusive Excellence Leadership, along with the basic tools stimulating an EDI journey across an organization, assessing an organizational social location, and assessing for factors such as unconscious bias in recruitment, psychological safety in workplaces, and levels of inclusivity to retain diverse talent as a health manager. We will also consider the important role that workplace leaders play in maintaining anti-racist practice in the work environment, including how to recognize and respond to racism and microaggressions in the workplace through case scenarios and discussion points during the online, live course facilitation.

CCHL National Conference (CNC) – Fellowship Convocation and Inaugural CHE Recognition Reception – Monday, June 5, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario.
The College is presenting the CCHL National Conference (CNC) in Toronto, Ontario at the Westin Harbour Castle. This conference will feature the 2023 Fellowship Convocation honouring two new Fellows and over 230 CHE’s, followed by a very special CHE/Fellows Recognition Reception, sponsored by Odgers Berndtson, and a CHE Lounge for those who would like to learn more about the CHE.
A special student conference rate of $360 plus tax is available (regular price for members = $1,100 / non-members = $1,120). A special conference rate of $299.00 for Deluxe Lakeview rooms at the Westin Harbour Castle is available until April 27, 2023.

The virtual CHE Convocation ceremony will celebrate over 230 CHE Program graduates. The ceremony will feature a keynote address by Dionne Sinclair, Vice President, Clinical Operations and Chief Nursing Executive at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).

Chidiebere Ibe: Diversity Through the Eyes of Stories – March 28, 2023
Previously scheduled as part of Black History Month, this exciting event has now been rescheduled and features Chidiebere Ibe, Nigerian medical illustrator, medical student and aspiring Pediatric Neurosurgeon known for his viral image of a Black pregnant woman with a Black fetus. Mr. Ibe will be joining the Faculty of Health Sciences, over Zoom, to share ‘Diversity Through the Eyes of Stories’.
